This is a listening link, no visuals – I first heard it as a teenager watching my Father Ted-fan father chuckling over his Christmas sherry and it cracks me up too! Enjoy!
It is entirely possible that I had heard ‘Bolero’ many times before I turned thirteen (25 years ago cough, HACK, choke)…but the first time I can recall hearing it, with absolute certainty was when some brilliant teacher put up the screen, rolled the film projector in and showed our class this at school.
It’ll take 16ish minutes to watch, cut down as it is into three Youtube presentations, but it’s worth it.
Show the kids – Ice Age it aint, but it really is quite fantastic.
